 About Bam 

Bam Johnson is a writer and director from Denver, Colorado. After obtaining his Bachelor's degree in Journalism with a minor in Political Science, Bam attended the Columbia University Graduate Film Program where he earned his Master of Fine Arts degree with a concentration in directing.  

​

His last film, Dry Kleaners, was awarded the Laugh Out Loud Filmmaker Fellowship in partnership with Kevin Hart, LOL Network, and the American Black Film Festival.

Recently, after working as a staff writer on Robert and Michelle King's The Bite,  Bam served as story editor for the upcoming Paramount + show, HAPPY FACE.
